Consider the Cause

Studies show that toxic mold found in water-damaged buildings has a negative impact on the health of individuals who work, study, and live in these buildings.

Our family's story attests to this reality.

The following 4-minute video features Dr. Michael Gray of Benson, Arizona. Dr. Gray is board certified in Occupational and Preventive Medicine and an expert in the field. He explains why it is crucial to consider the link between mold amplification and adverse health effects. He also elaborates on the need to consider the cause of an illness if we hope to prevent it.

  1. Andrea - this is great stuff, you are bringing Dr. Gray to us, and we don't even have to travel to Arizona, or make an appointment!

He said 17% of our children have learning impairments or developmental delays. And his research shows a statistically significant correlation between mold and neurological decline/deficits.

I believe many of these cognitive issues are linked to mold or other toxic exposures. Parents may not even realize the exposure has occurred, or they may minimize its significance. Even prenatal exposure can have an effect.

If you are a concerned parent or a physican - please consider the possiblity of environmental causes! And let's find a way to keep our schools mold-free and toxin-free.

  2. Andrea,
I agree this is great info. It is sad that so many schools have these conditions. And My kids weren't in school they were in our toxic home trying to learn. SO the hours they have been in the home and have been exposed is a very high amount. I'm so thankful we figured it out.

We are counting the days till we get to meet Dr. Gray and get answers for our family.

    Blessings,
    Kelly Batic
