    Hi Andrea, I avoid the commercial sunscreen and bug repellent! I have tried Skin So Soft by Avon as an alternative to bug repellent. Have you heard of this, and is this a good idea?

    Skin so Soft has mineral oil in in as well as other petroleum products. It's much better than many of products out there but I think the soybean oil/citronella/lemongrass recipe would be worth a shot, Maribeth.
